I mentioned it a few times on here and various social media that I fostered the cutest kitten I have ever seen a few weeks ago. A coworker found him outside of work and brought him inside. My boss brought him to me and I instantly fell in love. I mean, how could you not? He only weighed one pound and fell asleep in your arms!
I knew I couldn't keep him long term but I took him to the vet anyways. He was covered in fleas so my coworker and bathed him (around 3 times!). I took him home, which was probably my first mistake. I knew in my heart that whenever I do decide to get a pet I want to get a dog but I wanted to keep him so much. I knew I couldn't commit financially plus I wasn't sure I was ready for the 10+ year commitment that a cat entails. But I named him... which made it all the harder to give him away. Thankfully, we found him a loving forever home.
The reason I'm telling you about the kitten I fostered is because I realized this sweatshirt looked just like him! He had big blue eyes (not for long) and gray fur. When I realized this, I felt very sad I no longer had him. I only had him for a few days but whenever I'm in my apartment alone for too long I wish I still had him. He was so lively and made me feel not quite so alone all the time.
Here's the picture of Tyler! Isn't he the cutest??
