Green is by far my favorite color. However, I don't own a whole lot of it in regards to clothes. (Now if you saw my room it would be a different story!) I don't know why that is though. But since it is finally fall I decided to whip out some army green for the changing seasons. If only the weather would listen - it is still boiling in the South! I'm over it.
Anyways - the outfit.
I definitely wouldn't consider myself a "tough" person or even my style as grunge but this outfit makes me feel like both of those! I don't know what it is about fall but it makes me want to pull out my combat boots and toughen up any outfit. I love the dark colors for fall and this outfit is perfect for the cooler months because I can add more layers if I need to.
I'm also very pleased with this outfit because every item is second hand! I love when that happens. I picked up this chiffon-like shirt a long time ago and it's been a favorite ever since. I picked up the army green pants this past spring. I'd been looking for a long time for a pair of pants these color and these bad boys are originally from Zara! What a steal. My boots were pretty much new when I got them and are genuine leather so I was so excited to pick them up!
I also love half tucking an oversized button down into pants or jeans. It makes any look sleeker and more stylish - and it's such an easy fix! I also roll up the sleeves because they are normally too big for me anyways.
