Even though it's the day after halloween - I love a good graveyard.
When I first started getting into photography I would go to the cemetery behind my house and photograph it for hours. While it's not really my preferred photography subject when it comes to my fine art work - I do think it's a nice backdrop to photograph an outfit! Plus, it's really nice to take walks in too.
I probably chose the dreariest day ever to take these photos but I don't think they turned out that terribly - shockingly! For this outfit I started off with the gold t-shirt. I picked it up from Forever 21 a few years ago and it's been a staple ever since. It's a bit thicker than your normal t-shirt so it keeps me warmer without having to wear a jacket. I paired it with my black trench vest from Charlotte Russe, which I have featured on here before but I just can't stop wearing it!
I paired it with a plain wrap skirt from goodwill (originally the Limited). I have a lot of black skirts and for some reason I always forget about this one. It's one of those skirts that attracts EVERYTHING to it so it gets incredibly dirty incredibly fast. Such a pain. I also paired an orange scarf I thrifted recently for only a dollar! My boots, while a little dirty, are my new favorites. I picked them up recently from the Children's section of Target! What a steal!
I am surprised I've never talked about this bag before considering it's the only one I use. I found it years ago at a vintage store. I love the horse bit and surprisingly - isn't this style of bag pretty "in" right now? I'm going to be honest, I know nothing about handbags.
I feel like I've rambled a lot this post so - thanks for reading!
